I finally took some time off work to hit it hard on this boat again. The outdrive is off so I can repaint and thoroughly service it. Lots of frozen parts/bolts, but I've been able to take my time and haven't broken anything yet. I'll also change the PDS bearings and paint the transom shield...
I've been trying to find these replacement hoses before performing a PDS bearing and other lower unit (280) service, but cannot find them on any diagrams. Does anyone know what they are called or even a part number?
Last but not least, I purchased a Garmin Kraken 90 inch shaft trolling motor. After having spot lock for a few years on my little boats, I've grown completely spoiled and have to have it on this boat as well.

Those welds will hold just fine from what I see. Most aluminum welds crack from the crater being underfilled and/or work hardening from repeated stress.
I would look up the technical data sheets for the honeycomb panels versus other materials. Honeycomb panels tend to be good in compression, but poor in other specs. It may still work, but could require other alterations to achieve the same strength as original.
